Gordon passed away at 10:30 this morning, Eastern time, at the hospice facility at Beth Israel Hospital in New York City. Kimberly was with him, holding his hand. She told him she loved him, that we all loved him. She told him not to be afraid, and said to him that it was all right to go, and with that he just stopped breathing. He was not in pain.
Kimberly knows that many people will want to be in touch with her, and she has asked that friends not telephone her at this time. She wanted you to know that she’s doing ok, and that she is grateful for your support. She will be in touch with everyone shortly.
There will be a memorial event for Gordon sometime in the Spring. Kimberly will let everyone know details.
